Harmony Suite's location in Lungi introduces the visitor to village life in Sierra Leone as the drive from the airport or ferry terminal goes through the village.  Since opening in 2006, the proprietors of Harmony Hotel have contributed significantly to the economy of Kaffu Bullom Chiefdom by employing many of its residents and supporting some of the local schools with school supplies and building materials and paying tuition, board and clothing to some deserving students. The proprietors have paid the cost of schooling for some young men and women so that they can become productive citizens.
